Established in 2023 to complement the facility in Ghugus, the DRI plant in Konsari boasts two 95 TPD DRI Kilns . In FY24, this unit produced over 70,000 MT of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI), also known as Sponge Iron, primarily from iron ore lumps sourced from our own mines in Surjagarh. The largest single-configuration pellet plant in India, with a capacity of 4 MTPA was commissioned in June 2025.
The unit also hosts a captive power plant of 4 MW to fuel its operations.
